Agency Background = The New Jersey Infrastructure Bank is an independent State Financing Authority responsible for providing and administering low-interest rate loans to qualified municipalities, counties, regional authorities and water purveyors in New Jersey for the purpose of financing local transportation and water quality related infrastructure projects. The I-Bank’s mission is to finance projects that enhance ground and surface water resources, ensure the safety of drinking water supplies, protect public health, reduce roadway congestion, improve highway safety and contribute to New Jersey’s role as a critical channel for commerce.

Subject(s) of Discussion = The Infrastructure Bank has developed into an economic engine to aid our State’s local governments which in turn provide many opportunities for the construction industry. Mr. Zimmer will discuss his agency’s water infrastructure and transportation infrastructure financing programs and further explain the innovative ways the Infrastructure Bank enables public entities to plan, design and construct projects. Throughout the last several years, with ACCNJ’s and our labor partners’ advocacy efforts, the Bank’s mission continues to expand. Join us for a candid discussion with an agency leader making a difference in these uncertain times.
